I had a SATA external disk damaged by an accidental power off and wanted to repair it. I downloaded DRW and attempted to use it. I did not understand that it would not actually save the files unless I had registered. This is not an unreasonable policy but it would be nice to tell people that when the program starts. I tried to read an unreadable CD, it doesn\'t work. My unreadable CD became readable after simply copying using Nero into a blank CD.

No Success Software could not read the disk. Software also has no uninstall feature, so to get rid of it, you must manually delete it, then manually clean your registry of it.

nice programm, will do as promissed. A practical program for scanning problematic cd's.however a good hardware check of the cd-player, could be the addition that would make this program better.

Quick recovery for cd It just doesn't work on recovery of data that was recorded by using easy cd creator. So I can't still use my cd roms that have alot of data on them.

SMALL COMMENT good day:i was looking for a program to recover or extract data from a data cd . my cd drive used to read from this cd but all of a sudden all my 6 optical drives ( 4 dvd writers and 2 dvd roms ) doesn't read this data cd anymore. your software only works with drives that can read cd's. very much dissappointed.as long as the user's drive can read data from any cd then maybe it will work. but in my case the specific cd cannot be read by my optical drives...."keeps asking insert cd" when the cd is already inserted.. ...
